We are offering all our
copyrighted titles in two popular formats to begin with:
- Video CD (VCD)
- Digital Video Disc (DVD)
The other technology formats like
HD-DVD, Blu-Ray etc. will be launched once the hardware sales of these formats
begin in India.
We are currently offering titles
in VCD and DVD formats in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam,
Bhojpuri, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati and Punjabi languages.
Though we own close to 10,000
titles in all the above languages, in view of the constraints in the market to
absorb and sell all of them in one go, we are releasing these titles step by
step in a batch of 50 - 100 titles every month in each language to ensure
attention for each one of them by the distribution channel. We hope to offer the
entire range of close to 10,000 titles by the end of 2008.
As of January 2008, close to
3,000 stock keeping units (VCD and DVD formats put together) are available in
all the languages across the country and the same is offered in this website for
online sales.
